There is a global issue with the Idena network. We are investigating the causes and will update you as soon as we have more information. The states of all identities should stay the same as they were before the validation.

The global issue with the Idena network has been identified. The root cause of the problem was a bug that appeared due to the decrease of the network size in the previous epoch.

The fixed node version will be released soon. Follow our updates.

⚡️The validation date will be moved to Saturday, October 22. The states of all identities will stay the same. Submitted flips and issued invites will be saved.

There is a new version of the Idena Node available: 0.30.2

Changes:
- Flip lottery bug fix on block 5087986
- Shift upcoming validation date to Saturday, October 22 at 13:30 UTC
- Change Candidate to Newbie when no qualified flips

Mining will be restarted on October 19th at 0:00 UTC if the network majority is updated.

If you have issues with the built-in node update please follow the instructions below.

MacOS
1. Quit the Idena app
Press Cmd+Q when in the Idena app

2. Open terminal and enter the following command
rm -f ~/Library/Application\ Support/Idena/node/idena-go

Windows
1. Quit the Idena app
2. Open the following folder in the windows file explorer

    %appdata%/Idena/node

3. Delete idena-go.exe file

After restarting the Idena app, the download of the new node version will begin automatically.

There is a new version of the Idena Node available: 0.30.3

Changes:
- Mitigate IPFS memory leak issue
- Offline penalty bug fix
- Scheduled transactions for oracle votes bug fix
