The contest starts now and runs until Friday, June 25th, 16:00 UTC (which is also the end date of the Glyph the Planet event).
To participate, you need to glyph hack a portal, screenshot all glyphs during the result screen of the glyph hack and send the screenshot to @UncoverXM.
The prize pool consists of character badges for your scanner: 1 NL-2020, 1 ADA'19, 1 Misty Hannah'19 and 1 Stein Lighman'19.

Niantic published Release Notes for Ingress Prime v2.74.1, coming to your scanners shortly!
In this version, the Main Menu button layout was updated in preparation for a new feature! Additionally, C.O.R.E. subscribers will be able to see the renewal date in the Settings menu.
Fixed bugs involve a softlock on 2020 iPhone SE when using 2-finger zoom, random restarts of the New Agent Training and crashes occurring when uploading Portal Scans.
The team also stated to be working on tentative fixes to COMM loading and refresh, scheduled for v2.75.1!

With 721 agents, participants almost quadrupled from last time, and with 31014 submissions, screenshots have tripled. Counting took over 5 hours due to manually checking every chat for invalid screenshots. Due to the massive amount of agents, there were two agents that hit the average, therefore an ADA'15 medal was added to the prize pool.

Niantic has officially revealed the Second Sundays, an event focused on completing missions and exploring your local area.
As of now, Second Sundays during the months of July, August and September have been confirmed, and depending on the resonance, Second Sunday may be made a permanent event.
During the Second Sunday, you'll have to complete six official Mission Day missions to gain a +1 for your Mission Day badge. It doesn't matter if the missions have been completed by you before, as long as they are completed during the respective event period.
In addition to the requirements above, the first Second Sunday on July 12th will count ALL unique missions, even if they haven't been created for a mission day. Simply completing six unique missions will advance your Mission Day counter by one.
