My personal opinion on this is that it doesnt happen until it seems it cant happen, ie the current economical standing is priced in already today; everyone is on high alert for this to happen, everyone is expecting lower, and cheaper prices in property / the markets. Thus meaning the element of surprise isnt there and the panic would be minimal.
For this scenario to work to full effect people would need to be a) confident in the economy, b) see no reason for it to happen and c) be caught completely offside when it were to happen - none of this is how we are now, we are all fearing inflation, sidelined ready for the worst.
I think we see a recovery before it gets worse (not financial advice)

It seems funny how he was given the spotlight considering all media outlets wanted to drum Ukraine into everyone's brains because of the anti Russian agenda.
...now as Ukraine/Russia seems to be coming to an end we are about to see Fury take the belts off Usyk and most probably this is the start of the Ukraine unwind and my guess is the war with Russia is about to be tied up and forgotten (on the media mainstage)
