Modifications in Molnupiravir trial
1. Onset of symptoms from ≤ 7 to ≤5 days prior to the day of randomization
2. Requirement of sexual abstinence from 7 months to 4 days.
3. Removed requirement of oxygenation saturation of >93%
4. Increased number of recruiting centers from 6 to 345.
Merck evaluated data from 775 patients (even though they already had 1550 registers)
How a study with N=775 and six arms conducted in 345 different centers can give a reliable result?
