UK Maritime Trade Operations - Attack - Northern Arabian Gulf

UKMTO has received a report of an incident 72NM east of RAS AL KHAFJI, SAUDI
ARABIA.
A tanker travelling southeast through the Arabian Gulf has been struck by 2 unknown
projectiles on the port side.
All crew are accounted for and there is no reported environmental impact at this time.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to
UKMTO, whilst authorities investigate.

The Master reports the vessel has been struck by an unknown projectile which has
caused a hole on the starboard side. Vessel and crew safe, no environmental impact
reported. Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO,
whilst authorities investigate.
