Students who have already registered for the fest but Not Paid the Registration fee, the Deadline for the payment of FEST REGISTRATION FEE is 8th May, 2022 , 23:59hrs.

Greetings Students,

This mail is intended to inform you about the COVID guidelines to be followed in order to attend the IITM Paradox'22.

The guidelines are as follows:

1. It is mandatory to present a negative RT-PCR Report, which is not older than 48 hrs, at the IIT Madras Main Gate.
2. It is mandatory to sign a self declaration form that you are double vaccinated, that you do not have any COVID symptoms and that you would follow all COVID safety protocols.
3. Thermal screening shall be done before entering the campus.
4. Masks should be worn at all times.
5. It's necessary to carry hand sanitizer at all times.
6. Proper social distancing shall be maintained at all times.

Please beware that there is nothing called 'IITM Student community'. If you notice this email was sent from an external domain because this person is not even a part of IITM BSc degree.

• What can you do about it?
Report the email as spam, so any further emails from this ID will be marked as spam and will save other students from getting scammed by this imposter.

• Why should you avoid this imposter?
He has been scamming our students pretending to be from Student community and has been taking money from them. IIT Madras has even sent an email informing others about this.

Please beware and spread awareness about this scammer.

Dear student,

With the approval of the class committee, the following is being announced:

a. As a one-time exception for this term, for all students in the program, the calculation of this term's Quiz 2 scores is being modified as follows:

Your Quiz 2 score will be computed as a maximum of the following two quantities:

1. The actual Quiz 2 score

2. A prorated version of the end term score.
The prorating will depend on the relative weightage of the Quiz 2 score in the final Total course score calculation


b. As a one-time exception for this term, the eligibility to appear for the end term exam will not depend on the in-person quiz attendance.

Attention - Revised Event Rules and Extended Deadline to July 22,2022



Do you want to organise events for Paradox’23?
You heard it right. Grab this opportunity!

Prove your event organising capability both Online (August 13-15, 2022) and Offline (Dec 2022/Jan 2023) including a slot in Shaastra or Saarang.


- Multiple house members can form a team and organise events. There are no restrictions on who can form a team and organise events.

- The event head or a representative of the organising team can fill the form and upload the event proposal.

- No individual shall organise more than one event.

- The event proposal submission deadline has been extended to July 22nd.

- Event proposal sample template.

- Any student of IITM BS degree can register and participate in the events.

- Points shall be allotted for the winners and organisers. At the end of the event the points accumulated against each house is calculated and the house with highest points would be declared the winner.


Date & Time: Aug 13 & 14 evening 4 hrs each day and Aug 15 whole day of events (Tentative)
