سال‌ها زیر سایه‌ی سنگینِ استبداد زیستیم و امروز، بی‌پرده می‌گوییم از پایان دیکتاتور خوشحالیم.

طنین این شادی، نه از سنگدلی که از رهایی ملتی است که سال‌ها صدایش در گلو شکست و زیر فرمان او جنگی ناخواسته بر سرزمینش سایه انداخت.

لحظه‌های این روزها با همه‌ی نگرانی برای جان عزیزانمان، به‌ویژه کودکان، آمیخته است؛ اما نفسِ نبودنش روزنه‌ای از سبکباری در دل‌ها گشوده.

یقین داریم که هیچ ظلم و دیکتاتوری ابدی نبوده و نیست و ایرانمان می‌تواند از دل این پایان، آینده‌ای روشن‌تر و آزادتر بسازد.

ℹ️ Information About Haft-Seen Table in Illini Union

The Nowruz table was donated to the Illini Union in 2023 by IHF and the Salaam Center and is now under the University’s ownership.

In that time it was intended as a showcase representing the nations along the Silk Road that celebrate Nowruz, including Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

Accordingly, IHF does not oversee decisions about how the table is arranged or how long it is displayed.

⬛️ Nonetheless, IHF had asked whether a tribute sign could be added in remembrance of those who lost their lives in recent events in Iran, but that request was not approved.

🔸The IHF is pleased to share a new emergency funding opportunity for Iranian Students enrolled in eligible institutions who have been financially impacted by recent events supported by Reimagining Iranian Students Empowerment (RISEUS), powered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

🔹We are especially pleased to announce that UIUC is now included in the list of eligible institutions.

🔸Eligible students may receive up to $5,000 for educational, living, health, or other essential expenses during Summer 2026 or academic year 2026–2027.
