#Day1 #shadowing
We know that our relationships fail and our marriages fail, so there's an entire industry to help us maintain better relationships.
Well, friendships fail, and we think we have friends, yet we still struggle and feel lonely. If you have good friendship, you will not feel lonely.
You may have moments of loneliness, and in those periods, you will pick up the phone and say to your friend,
I need you, I'm lonely, and your friends will be there. You will feel not alone.

Can the Hedgehog Fly?
#short #story #obedience
Can the Hedgehog Fly?
Every day before going to work, the husband asks,
"Can a hedgehog fly?" And the wife replies,
"Yes, of course it flies, but it flies a little lower."
"And what about milk, is it white or black?" he continues.
"If you say it's white, it's white, and if you say it's black, it's black," she responds.
The woman's friends get angry with her, saying: "What, don't you have an independent mind? Can't you tell your husband, 'Hedgehogs don't fly, and milk is white, not black?'
But one day, she explained, "Both my husband and I know that hedgehogs don't fly and that milk is white. However, this is a symbolic gesture of my obedience.

BTW, this was about loyalty...
Let's break it down into pieces.
"Eat with people" means spending time with them, caring for them, paying attention to them, and making them happy. These are people you wouldn't starve with—in real terms, they would starve with you together.
There are some people who will endure hardship with you and never leave. Eat with them.
There are others who will abandon you in difficult situations. Don't eat with them.
If people can starve with you during hard times, eat with them during good times. Those who leave you in your downs aren't worth spending time with.
The ones who will be with you in your ups and downs, no matter what, are truly loyal. If their loyalty ends when their needs end, they are not loyal to you—they are loyal to their need of you. Once their needs change, so does their loyalty.

Or this one:
Quinn: Our state is considering raising the age at
which a person can get a driver’s license to eighteen. This is unfair because the age has been sixteen for many years and sixteen-year-olds today
are no less responsible than their parents and
grandparents were at sixteen. Many young people
today who are fourteen and fifteen years old are
preparing to receive their licenses by driving with
a learner’s permit and a licensed driver, usually
one of their parents. It would not be fair to suddenly say they have to wait two more years.
Dakota: It is true that people have been allowed
to receive a driver’s license at sixteen for generations. However, in recent years, the increase in
traffic means drivers face more dangers than ever
and must be ready to respond to a variety of situations. The fact that schools can no longer afford
to teach drivers’ education results in too many
young drivers who are not prepared to face the
traffic conditions of today.
Question: What is the point at issue between Quinn
and Dakota?
a. whether sixteen-year-olds should be
required to take drivers’ education before
being issued a license
b. whether schools ought to provide drivers’
education to fourteen- and fifteen-year-old
students
c. whether the standards for issuing drivers’
licenses should become more stringent
d. whether sixteen-year-olds are prepared to
drive in today’s traffic conditions
e. whether parents are able to do a good job
teaching their children to drive
