TWO mistakes when registering the IELTS

1) EARLY REGISTRATION - it can be waste of money to register for IELTS if your receptive skills' results are around 15-20. Instead postpone the exam and focus on General English

2) NOT REGISTERING or DELAYING IT - for those who have no deadline, it can take them forever to take the test because you NEVER feel 100% ready, if your practice test results are good and your teacher recommends to register, it may be time to take the test. E.g I set deadline to my exam date otherwise I keep being lazy and never commit to preparation consistently

Other Issues:

1) Cancellation/Transfer - if you had already registered for the test but you need to postpone it for some reasons (You results are still nowhere near you want them to be, or you get sick, or "tog'am qizi/do'stim uylanyapti" then do it 35 days in advance. This is because if you tell only 2-3 weeks in advance, you may not be able to cancel and say goodbye to money you paid for the test.

2) Taking IELTS in other country - If you think taking the test in Toshmat city in China can improve your score, be ready to take the test again. IELTS test is the same all around the world in terms of test difficulty and reliability.

3) Choosing IDP or BC because your Zaynab friend or Eshmat brother told one is easier than the other. This advice does not make sense at all. If you are a band 7 candidate, you can get it at both. Instead 'useFarosat' and improve your mindset by telling: If I prepare well, and follow my teacher's advice, I can get 7.0 in IELTS anytime, anywhere, any organisation. Be that mentally strong that even IELTS becomes afraid of you. Thus, when you enter exam room, not your hands, but exam papers starts shaking 😁.
