To commemorate this important day in the history of Iran, the Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia presents the Tirgan Summer Festival to honor our history. This family-friendly event features children's games, cultural performances, and an art and food bazaar with activities and prizes.

هم‌وطنان گرامی،

بدین‌وسیله از شما دعوت می‌کنیم در یک پیک‌نیک جمعی و خانوادگی با هدف ایجاد ساعاتی شاد، مفرح و خاطره‌انگیز برای اعضای جامعه ایرانیان نوااسکوشیا در کنار یکدیگر حضور داشته باشید.

این برنامه به‌صورت پاتلاک (Potluck) برگزار می‌شود و شامل دورهمی‌های خانوادگی، بازی‌ها و تفریحات گروهی و فرصت مناسبی برای دیدار و آشنایی بیشتر با دوستان و هم‌وطنان خواهد بود.

هر شرکت‌کننده مسئول تهیه غذای مورد نیاز خود و خانواده‌اش خواهد بود.

همچنین از دوستان و هم‌وطنانی که صاحب بیزینس‌های مواد غذایی و خوراکی هستند دعوت می‌شود در صورت تمایل در این برنامه حضور داشته و محصولات خود را برای فروش عرضه کنند. تمامی مسئولیت‌های مربوط به فروش، ارائه و رعایت مقررات مربوط به محصولات غذایی بر عهده صاحب بیزینس خواهد بود.

🏖️ وسایل مورد نیاز
توصیه می‌شود برای داشتن یک روز راحت و لذت‌بخش، کفش و لباس مناسب همراه داشته باشید و حتماً ضدآفتاب و اسپری دفع حشرات به همراه بیاورید.

این پارک همچنین به ساحل دریاچه و امکانات فعالیت‌های آبی دسترسی دارد؛ بنابراین در صورت تمایل می‌توانید وسایل شنا و لوازم مورد نیاز خود را نیز همراه داشته باشید.

Invitation to Join Our Community Picnic & Group Activities 🌿☀️

Dear fellow Iranians,

We warmly invite you to join us for a community family picnic, organized to provide a fun, relaxing, and memorable day for members of the Iranian community in Nova Scotia to come together and enjoy each other’s company.

📍 Oakfield Provincial Park
⏰ 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

The event will be held as a Potluck and will include family gatherings, group games and activities, as well as a great opportunity to meet, connect, and spend time with friends and fellow community members.

Each participant is responsible for bringing food for themselves and their family.

We also welcome friends and community members who own food-related businesses to participate, if interested, and offer their food products for sale during the event. All responsibilities related to the sale, presentation, and compliance with applicable food regulations will be the sole responsibility of the respective business owner.

🏖️ What to Bring

To make the most of the day, we recommend bringing comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent.

The park also provides access to the lake and water activities. If you wish to enjoy the water, feel free to bring your swimsuit and any necessary swimming equipment.
