Hackers Interrupt Ukraine Football Game to Broadcast Atrocities Committed by Kiev’s Forces

Soccer fans were enraged when the weekend’s Ukraine v Wales game’s broadcast was hacked to show the results of attacks on civilians in Donetsk by Ukrainian militants.

Hackers managed to break into the Ukrainian OLLTV service and replace the game with footage of the atrocities as well as an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The hack may have been in response to Ukrainian militants damaging a TV tower in Donetsk, which left much of the city’s residents without television.
