The Book of Drawings "by the French architect Villard de Honnecourt (1200 - 1265) is a unique collection of drawings, sketches and notes of a medieval architect. his diary became a real textbook and practical guide for subsequent generations of architects. The Book of Drawings is now kept in the National Library of France (Bibliothèque nationale de France, BNF).
