🚨 CCP Funded Chinese Nationals Busted Smuggling ‘Crop-Destroying Super Fungus’ into U.S. in a Plot to Destroy our Food Supply

• The smuggling attempt occurred in July 2024, but the case was JUST publicly disclosed today.

• The two Chinese nationals, Yunqing Jian (33) and Zunyong Liu (34), were charged by the DOJ for attempting to smuggle “Fusarium graminearum”, an extremely dangerous fungus, through Detroit Metropolitan Airport, hidden in plastic baggies inside Liu’s backpack.

• Yunqing Jian, one of the two Chinese nationals charged in this case, worked at the University of Michigan, where she was a postdoctoral fellow at the university’s Molecular Plant-Microbe Laboratory.
—— Her boyfriend, Zunyong Liu, was planning to use its laboratory facilities for research on the smuggled “Fusarium graminearum” fungus, and potentially releasing it into the United States.
—— Liu conducts research on the SAME pathogen at a university in China.

• Liu initially LIED but later admitted to the smuggling; Jian’s electronics revealed they had direct financial funding ties to the Chinese Communist Party

• Both came into the US under the Biden Administration and now face charges of conspiracy, smuggling goods, making false statements, and visa fraud.

• Jian was arrested and appeared in federal court in Detroit on June 3, 2025; Liu was denied entry to the U.S. and remains AT LARGE, likely fleeing to China.

Tokenizing U.S. debt means converting it into digital tokens on a blockchain, which could transform the liability into a tradable asset, as seen with tokenized debt markets that streamline issuance and reduce costs (Tokeny, 2021).

The U.S. national debt, at $35 trillion as of 2025, is a liability for the government but becomes an asset for bondholders; tokenization could attract retail investors by lowering entry barriers, though the underlying obligation remains (Fiscal Data, U.S. Treasury).

This concept challenges traditional finance, as tokenization may shift debt perception, but high interest rates on Treasuries (above 5% in 2025) could deter investment, reflecting market concerns about rising debt levels (The New York Times, 2025).
