Bookworms and aspiring readers!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our next Book Circle session!

📚"Identity is a novel by Franco-Czech writer Milan Kundera, published in 1998. The novel revolves around the intimate relationship between Chantal and her marginally younger partner Jean-Marc. The intricacies of their relationship and its influences on their sense of identity brings out Kundera's philosophical musings on identity not as an autonomous entity but something integral shaped by the identities of others and their relations to your own." We will read this piece in Farsi, and will discuss it together afterwards.

We’re planning the food for the UTIRAN Nowruz party event (stay tuned 👀) and want to know your preference! Please vote for one of the following meal combinations:

PSA: we can offer a higher quantity of food supplied from non-Iranian vendors (ex: pizza & cold cut sandwich) to offer you a full meal. Alternatively we can serve Persian/ middle eastern themed food options as refreshments (less quantity) and bites to go with your drinks.
please keep it in mind

Which food option would you prefer? (Select one option only)

Option 1️⃣: Iranian cold-cut sandwiches (ex: 4 inch bombowich/topol) + Greek platter (mini chicken & beef skewers, pita, tzatziki, olives) + charcuterie board (mazzeh)

Option 2️⃣: Iranian cold-cut sandwiches (4 inch) or non Iranian full size sandwich (ex: metro catering) + pizza (ex: pizza nova party size) + charcuterie board mazzeh

Option 3️⃣: Middle Eastern (Lebanese garden) food (e.g., beef shawarma, mini chicken kebab, pita chips and dips, baklava, fatoush salad)

Thank you for voting! Your input will help us choose the best option for the event.
