With support from Canadian High Commission in Nigeria through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), HumAngle recently hosted a stakeholder meeting with peace actors in Benue, North Central Nigeria. The roundtable was part of our efforts to tackle misinformation in conflict areas, under our Countering Misinformation and Promoting Peace Project in Nigeria’s Middle Belt.
Participants included representatives from government institutions, community-based organisations, and faith-based groups.
Discussions focused on what has worked, what has failed, and what could be done differently to improve conflict prevention and the flow of reliable information within communities.
