Religions have imagined so many answers to this question but this answer is 100 % for sure :)
Read this to avoid a mistake which can destroy our lives: being realistic DOES NOT MEAN to simply see reality as it is right now, REALITY IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING.
So next time you think to yourself that "this is not realistic" or hear someone say this forever remember and say this : for a big part reality is how we humans decide to make it.
Remember the world before Internet you think anyone knew it was going to change like that? Very few people had a clue but the world did completely change. And that's what hope is hope is to know that you have the capacity to change your life and influence others.
The greatest leaders do this with such patience, determination and dedication that they manage to change the world : Malcolm X, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Greta Thunberg...

I learned this lesson late. Why does authenticity matters?
Because if we hide our real self by trying to look perfect for example we can't experience real love the relationship becomes a fight of egos both trying to be something they are not.
If we are really doing our best then accept and show our imperfections is the only way to stop the war and be in peace both with ourselves and others.
Make sense right how could we experience real love without being real?

We choose our experiences based on our thoughts in two ways :
1. You can decide so many of the parameters that will make your daily experience : the best people around you, a job that is valued by the market to have a safe future, well intentioned colleagues, healthy habits...
2. When you have optimised these parameters the second thing you can act on to have the best life possible are the interpretation of the events happening and that's when positive thinking comes in: improve what we can and accept what you can't or is not worth to improve.
