Yes. If you wish to retain the home directories for the inactive Cloud Shell user(s), you must inform each inactive Cloud Shell user to log into the OCI Console and start a new Cloud Shell session. This will automatically mark the instance(s) as "Active" and prevent the user’s home directory from being deleted.

Note: If inactive Cloud Shell users are no longer using the home directories, then no action is required and the home directories will be automatically deleted after 240 days of inactivity.

wie Sie sicher mitbekommen haben, sind die Preise unserer IT-Produkte nun deutlich nach oben gestiegen. Die Ursache für die Preissteigerung liegt an den steigenden Strompreisen auf dem deutschen Markt. Unser Rechenzentrumsbetreiber kündigte für den 01.01.2023 eine Strompreiserhöhung um fast das Dreifache an. Diese Steigerung können wir aktuell nicht mehr mit unserer Gewinnmarge der einzelnen Produkte abdecken und müssen deshalb angepasst werden. Die Höhe der Preissteigerung der einzelnen Produkte wird anhand der eingesetzten Hardware und deren Energie Aufwendung ermittelt.

Die Aktuelle Lage auf dem Strom und Gas Markt ist sehr chaotisch. Jeden Tag verändert sich der Preis extrem. Die von der Bundesregierung eingeführte Strompreisbremse soll für Beruhigung sorgen. Diese ist jedoch noch nicht in Kraft getreten und wird derzeit im Bundestag diskutiert.

Trotz aller Effizienz wie z.B. das Ersetzen von alten HDD‘s durch SSD‘s und neuer Servertechnik, ist unser Einsparpotential nun komplett ausgeschöpft.

Was bedeutet das für mich als Kunde|in?
Für bereits abgeschlossene Langzeit Verträge, bleibt der Preis wie im Vertrag ausgelegt, zunächst fest. Die gilt insbesondere für Wartungsverträge und sonstige IT-Dienstleistungsverträge.

Für alle Kunden|innen mit Prepaid Produkten gilt nun folgendes:
Die Strompreiserhöhung muss nicht nachgezahlt werden. Erst ab der nächsten Verlängerung des Produktes, gelten die neuen Verlängerungskonditionen. Die neuen Konditionen sind in der Übersicht der jeweiligen Produkte einsehbar.

Bitte beachten Sie, würden wir weiterhin mit den alten Konditionen auf dem Markt bleiben, hätten wir keinen wirtschaftlichen Sinn mehr. Wir halten eine Preissteigerung von rund 1-2€ auf alle Produkte für vertretbar.

Wichtige Information! Sollte unser Rechenzentrumsbetreiber den Strompreis wieder absenken, so werden auch wir natürlich unserer Preise auf das entsprechende Niveau angleichen.
