كلما ازددنا معرفة ازددنا شكًّا، فكل معرفة شك،ومن يعرف أكثر يقلق أكثر، وييأس أكثر، ويهلك أكثر

LOVING COMMUNICATION

To love without knowing how to love wounds the person we love. To know how to love someone, we have to understand them. To understand, we need to listen. That person may be our partner, our friend, our sibling, or our child. You can ask, “Dear one, do you think that I understand you enough? Please tell me your difficulties, your suffering, and your deepest wishes.” Then the other person has an opportunity to open their heart.

‏قل : "مرحبا " للجروح التي وهبتكَ هذا الوهج المبارك ..

كل من أحببتهم في حياتي، كانوا شجعانًا، عفويين، وتكاد أقدامهم لا تلمس الأرض من فرط اندفاعهم. في قلبي كلهم متحفزين كما لو كانوا يخططون لثورة، بينما قلبي المُحِب والضجِر يحاول تخفيف تمرّدهم بصبّ الكثير من الطمأنينة في كؤوسهم. يقول صديقي أني أنجذب لا إراديًا لأضدادي، وتقول صديقة أنني أبحث فيهم عن نفسي التي أحلم بها، بينما أعتقد عن نفسي، أن الخوف أعمى، وأنأ أريد أن أرى العالم، ولو كان ثمن ذلك أن يكون كل أحبائي نوافذ، أطل منها، من العلياء المفتعل لرضاي وهدوئي، لكل ذلك الصخب في الاسفل، كل ذلك الصخب شديد الجمال.
