Synonymy

Problem 🅿️: Students think that all synonyms are absolute synonyms only.

Solution👨‍🔧:
1. To distinguish the exact equivalent word in Arabic.
2. To distinguish the general Level of the meaning of the word then translate.
3. If the level of the meaning is unclear we return the word to the original set

Problem🅿️: idioms are direct, indirect and phrasal verbs and students don’t know when to Translate literally or with equivalent or meaning.
Solution👨‍🔧: Translating direct idioms literally is OK, but the other types (indirect and phrasal verbs) must be translated with equivalent or meaning because they are metaphorical.
