- 1st stanza: The contrast between Life and Death.

- 5th stanza: The contrast between the activity of living people with Life & Death. Nothing can wake them up.

- 12th stanza: There is a great contrast between the fire of ordinary people (the energy of common people) and the coldness of graves. The coldness of poverty that killed their energy and ambitions.
