Today our Lothian activists revisited Traprain Law near Haddington for a get together and walk with the dogs. After the fog lifted the activists were treated to a stunning view of the East Lothian coastline.

Whilst community politics is the top priority we are always happy to have a get together for a barbecue, hike or just a coffee.

This weekend Homeland activists from Yorkshire, the North West, and the West Midlands met up for a physically challenging weekend of scrambling, hiking, and team building in the stunning Ogwen Valley of Gwynedd, Wales.

Community politics is at the centre of what we do here at Homeland but it is paramount that our people push themselves and each other to improve in all spheres of life.

Homeland activists from West Midlands and Wales met at Haughmond Abbey near Shrewsbury to explore this Augustinian monastery founded in the 12th century and to enjoy a woodland walk. This was followed by lunch at a local country pub after which some of the group decided to take the forest path up to the top of Haughmond Hill where they had panoramic views across England and Wales.
