Adil Iqbal was sentenced to just 12 years in prison and banned from driving for only 14 years after killing a pregnant woman and causing serious brain injury to two children when he drove into their car at an estimated 92mph.

This "insulting" sentencing is clearly very lenient - Iqbal took away an entire family's future- he should never be allowed back on the roads, and should face life in prison.

Homeland Party activists joined with the people of Kegworth over the weekend to protest the use of the Yew Tree Hotel to house migrants.

We are the only party willing to stand with Kegworth on this issue, while their MP Andrew Bridgen and their local authority appear unwilling to help in any substantial way.
