The Homeland Party joined the people of Kegworth at their demonstration this weekend. Since February, the Yew Lodge Hotel has been hosting around two hundred migrants and that number is steadily increasing.

The people of Kegworth must be commended not only for their sense of unity but the fervor with which they have been opposing this onslaught, and we don’t use that word lightly. They have been demonstrating outside the hotel regularly since it closed its doors to the paying public. They have also tried other avenues - alerting school boards to suspicious behavior, engaging with their councilors, reporting incidents to the police, only to be ignored or even worse, intimidated into silence. They have stood firm and haven’t backed down, and they can’t be ignored forever.

After a call to arms on Twitter, Stand Up To Racism could only muster twenty or so people for their laughable counter demo.

And they are keeping up the lie that they have substantial local support - they don't, it's all bussed in.

Organisations that habitually lie to their own supporters have no respect for them.

The Homeland Party held our first summer camp in the Derbyshire Dales.

Despite the changeable weather 🌦we were all well looked after with big tents, good BBQ and on-site accommodation for young families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. The kids had a great time playing & petting the animals.

The banner drop was especially challenging in the wind 💨 but we pulled if off 💪🏻.

We enjoyed sports & games including the worlds first leafleting race 🏃🏻‍♂️ as well as a cozy unplugged music session 🎻.
