Since i'm using snapshots instead of gorefucked together pacman pancakes, I will also write a manual installation guide later, because I can
That would imply that you can install it on any partition you want, as long as you have necessary parititons pre-created
HoloISO Immutable update 4 version snapshot20240130.1317 build 51 (Branch: beta) | Update 1 version snapshot20240130.1331.41 (Branch: dev_nv)

Changes:
- Make updater check only for the "snapshot" part, in order to properly roll into stable/subbranch builds without waiting for stars to align and bash to think that ansi sum is greater

Update via steamos-update or Steam GUI (a big button in Deck UI)

before this change, updater checked it differently

for example, it would check for:
if holoiso_rel_snapshot20240127.1834.43 is greater than holoiso_beta_snapshot20240125.1712.26? Which would return false, because total sum in latter one is bigger.

Now it would check for:
if snapshot20240127.1834.43 is greater than snapshot20240125.1712.26? Which should return true as it should.
^ psa on why this change is important

Update via steamos-update or Steam GUI (a big button in Deck UI)

Hi! Servers might not be accesible for next hour-two due to maintainence and both failures on our providers, please do not freak out if something does not work!
Here's an installer mirror: https://dl.holoiso.ru.eu.org/0:/holoiso-installer/holoiso_beta_snapshot20240302.1307.27-INSTALLER-57-x86_64.iso
Hello! The servers were due to migrating to some issues, and now we have a unified URL to return some kind of working mirror to not fail under any chance!
The updater was updated to include the latest mirror (in future OS update)
To get working updates now just run terminal as superuser (sudo su) and paste this line: steamos-readonly disable && rm /usr/bin/steamos-update && wget https://github.com/holoiso-staging/postcopy/raw/beta/usr/bin/steamos-update -O /usr/bin/steamos-update && chmod +x /usr/bin/steamos-update && steamos-readonly enable

I'm sorry for all inconveniences caused, and will be sure to not cause shit like this again in future!

Double P.S: all download links in releases were updated in accordance, dev_nv is available again from this url: https://get.holoiso.ru.eu.org/holoiso-installer/dev_nv/holoiso_beta_snapshot20240122.2200.45-dev_nv-INSTALLER-20-x86_64.iso
