Armenia: Anti-Pashinyan PROTESTERS storm Government building in Yerevan

Protesters in the Armenian capital of Yerevan have stormed a government building, demanding PM Nikol Pashinyan resigns.

Footage on social media shows demonstrators apparently inside the government building. Whilst police are present, they appear to be just watching on.

The storming of the building comes just days after citizens took to the streets in their thousands, shouting ‘Nikol is a traitor’ from vehicles in defiance of the PM.

Pashinyan had been told to stand down by the Armenian general staff of Military, an action the PM called an ‘attempted military coup’.
