"According to Law Society, an independent professional body for solicitors in England and Wales, brain chips for lawyers might be comingโ€”and they may even become required"

Imagine having telepathic conversations with loved ones, instantaneously accessing superhuman computational power, playing back memories and dreams, or immersing yourself and every sense you possess into a virtual entertainment experience. In the distant future, if brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are successful at reading and writing information to the brain, and if humans adapt to the technology, we could experience some pretty amazing scenarios. But, there are many outstanding questions for how we could ensure a bright future: Who will own the data generated by our brains? Will brain data be bought and sold by data brokers like other personal information today? Will people be forced to use certain BCIs that surveil their brain activity (for example, to make sure youโ€™re paying attention at work and school)? Will BCIs put peoplesโ€™ brains at risk of being hacked?

The most profound statement in over 150 years of biological research since Charles Darwin can be summarized in just three words, โ€œorganisms are algorithms.โ€

This is the biggest insight to come out of modern life sciences, according to historian Yuval Harari at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Will the future of humanity be even human, or is our generation one of the last to be called homo sapien?

How to hack a human 101

According to Harari there are two simultaneous revolutions taking place that have led scientists to the brink of hacking humans.

1 Advances in computer science and machine learning

2 Advances in biology and brain science

On the Internet of Things, We People Are the Things

"If plants bind energy, animals bind space, and humans bind time, then what do networked algorithms bind? They bind us."

Precursors of transhumanism

According to Nick Bostrom, transcendentalist impulses have been expressed at least as far back as the quest for immortality in the Epic of Gilgamesh, as well as in historical quests for the Fountain of Youth, the Elixir of Life, and other efforts to stave off aging and death.

One of the early precursors to transhumanist ideas is Discourse on Method (1637) by Renรฉ Descartes. In the Discourse, Descartes envisioned a new kind of medicine that could grant both physical immortality and stronger minds.

The biologist Julian Huxley is generally regarded as the founder of transhumanism after using the term for the title of an influential 1957 article.

Transhumanists Gather In Spain To Plan Global Transformation

Transhumanism is a futuristic religion that exalts technology as the highest power. The movementโ€™s goal is to merge man with machine. Their wildest prophecies seem ridiculous at first, until you consider the dizzying advances in bionics, robotics, neuroprosthetics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and genetic engineering.

The great future city of Metropolis in the film is inhabited by two distinct classes: the industrialists live off the fat of the land, supported by the workers who live under the city and endure a bare-bones existence of backbreaking work. The story concerns a forbidden love between Freder (played by Gustav Frรถhlich), a young man from the industrialist class, and Maria (Brigitte Helm), an activist who preaches against the divide between the two classes. The subterfuge and deceit involving a robot duplicate of Maria culminate in a revolution that quickly spells disaster for all involved.

Artificial Intelligence: A Secular Look At The Digital Antichrist

Why do globalists have a deep rooted obsession with Artificial Intelligence (AI)? What is it about the fervent quest for an autonomous digitized brain that sends them into fits of ecstasy? Is it all about what AI can do for them and their agenda, or, is there also a darker โ€œoccultโ€ element to the concept that is so appealing?

The kindest people are not born that way, they are made. They are the ones who have dug themselves out of the dark, who have fought to turn every loss into a lesson. The kindest people donโ€™t just exist - they choose to soften where circumstance has tried to harden them, they choose to believe in goodness because they have seen firsthand why compassion is so necessary. They have seen firsthand why tenderness is so important in this world. --Bianca Sparacino
