A golden spiral is a logarithmic spiral that grows outwards by a factor of the Golden Ratio.
The Golden Ratio is a special mathematical relationship that appears countless times in nature.
The observable leaf arrangement patterns in the video follows what we call the "Fibonacci Sequence", it unfolds such that each number is the sum of the previous two numbers.
German mathematician and astronomer Keppler found that self-similar spiral patterns are easily found in the shape of the leaves in the stem of plants. Or even a small flower and flower petals arrangement. Leonardo da Vinci noted that the leaf spaces are generally in spiral patterns. These patterns are called the "phyllotaxis" pattern or leaf arrangement pattern.
Logarithmic spiral patterns allow plants maximum exposure to insect pollination, maximum exposure to sunlight and rain and allow them to spiral water to their roots as efficiently as possible.

According to the famous architect and author Buckminster Fuller, these patterns are a function of time-space. DNA and honeycomb have such a shape for the same reason that the soap bubble is round. It is the most efficient format that requires the least amount of power required. "Space" itself has shape and allows only certain configurations for matter, always defaulting the most efficient one.

The oranges become a metaphor for the fruit of one’s actions. You are not safe from the past, faraway on the distant branches, or back at the root. Life and death are hand in hand in The Godfather, the lifeless corpses of great men made equal by their ends.
