INVISIBLE SOLDIERS? Researchers create CHAMELEON ROBOT which can blend in with surroundings, being hyped for MILITARY APPLICATION

Korean researchers have created a color-mimicking material that can automatically blend into surroundings in real time, and fixed it to a little lizard-like robot.

The chameleon bot is made of several layers of color-changing displays called Inverse notes, which use nanotech sensors to detect and display the colors of the surroundings.

Although not yet in commercial production, the tech is being considered for military applications, with senior study author Seung Hwan Ko hoping to produce the tech for “covert intel robots,” or “actively camouflaging military uniforms.”

Berlin CANNIBALISM & sex murder trial begins - continues next week

The trial of a 41-year-old Berlin man accused of murdering and dismembering another man’s body with the aim of consuming it for sexual gratification has been delayed till next week.

The remains of the victim (picture above) - whom the accused, known only as Stefan R, allegedly met via a dating site last September - were discovered buried in a park and subsequently also in the accused’s home.

Stefan R has been in custody since November but has successfully requested a delay as the prosecutor’s office hasn’t supplied all the evidence.
