The Crypto Hideout Knowledge Library
New video coming later this week showing how I identify potential trade opportunities. Depending on Market conditions at time of recording, I may or may not do a live trade on DYDX Exchange at the end π€·ββοΈ
Had to identify the flaw in my TA before I could put this out; SMA instead of EMA was the root cause π
Useful sites for finding opportunities:
https://coinmarketcap.com/
I use this to look for coins that are recently in the top trading volume but have a MC value that is outside the top 20
https://cryptobubbles.net/
I use this to filter coins in a visual context from 1min-1year timeframes and to display only the coins that are available to me for trading on DYDX Exchange
https://www.coinglass.com/LiquidationData
I use this to identify trend changes from buy/sell and it can be used to find coins that have recently bottomed or topped out as they will be in the top of the list for liquidations by coin

I watched this again today; worth skimming through if you need a refresher on interpreting candles and identifying patterns

There are 3 problems in retailers:
1/ Losing in chop zone (Consolidation zone)
2/ Go against the trend when the main move comes.
3/ Take profit too early when the main move comes.

This is what I use to identify coins Iβm interested in trading. Iβm looking for large liquidations of non-BTC/ETH coins.
Green color is traders who have had their long positions liquidated
Red color is traders who have had their short positions liquidated
When the screen is all one color with just a few exceptions, those are the charts to watch for an entry.

Here's some free information on sites that can be helpful when you're struggling with coin data!
<Net Long, Net Short>
2. After accessing the site, click Super Charts.
3. Add Net Long, Net Short, etc.
* If you're having trouble interpreting open interest, account ratio, funding rate, etc.,
* We recommend starting with Net Long and Net Short to intuitively see the changes in the proportion of long and short positions (net positions).
ππ» The key here is to always monitor price movements, and practice checking how prices change when Net Long and Net Short values ββchange.
(Once you're comfortable with this process, you can move on to checking data like open interest, account ratio, funding rate, and liquidation using the above method.)
