What is theory of every thing?

The theory of everything (TOE) is a hypothetical single, all-encompassing, coherent theoretical framework of physics that fully explains and links together all physical aspects of the universe. It is sometimes referred to as the ultimate theory of the universe. As of yet, there is no accepted TOE, but string theory and the related M-theory have been considered by some to be the closest contenders, as they attempt to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity.

What will happen if we one day formulate it?

If a Theory of Everything is successfully formulated, it would allow scientists to explain and understand the behavior of all types of matter and energy and the interactions between them. It could also provide a unifying description of the universe that encompasses all physical laws, from the laws of motion to the forces of nature. In short, it could revolutionize our understanding of the physical world.

Some years ago, the standard model was the closest we have ever been to TOE but later physicists found limitations. And over the years GUT (grand unified theory), string theory, M-theory, loop quantum gravity were formulated and they are the candidates to TOE.

Gravity is the enemy.

The multiverse theory is one of the most intriguing and exciting theory ever. If it is true that there are infinite number of universes, then statistically speaking there are infinite number of "you" in existence.

Imagine meeting your doppelganger from another universe🤯

That is according to level I and level II multiverse theory. The many world interpretation in QM also predicts the same way (though we have found a lot of limitations in it)

Some multiverse proposals have completely different physics constants or dimensions where life (or matter itself) cant exist.
In those universes, "you" could never arise.
