Stepping away from the social media noise. I'm uninstalling my apps to create space for more meaningful experiences and deeper connections in the real world. Taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on what fuels my soul. Farewell for now - catch you when I'm ready to return.

My honest takeaway from my recent social media detox (just under a month) is this: Before this, I hadn't gone without social media for more than twelve hours since I started using it. So, stepping away for twenty five days and focusing on other things felt like a significant win. I realized that a complete, prolonged withdrawal isn't sustainable, as you inevitably miss important updates and can feel like you're falling behind. The FOMO was real, especially initially, but I learned to manage it by prioritizing real life interactions and focusing on the benefits of being present. On the other hand, the experience was incredibly soothing. My brain genuinely benefited from a break from the constant barrage of texts, notifications, and often irrelevant news. I found myself much more productive and able to focus on tasks for longer periods.
