On Valentine’s Day 2023, the Moon will occult Dschubba!
Dschubba, or delta Scorpii, is a B-type star in the constellation of Scorpius. It’s the middle star in the little arc of 3 stars above bright red Antares, the Scorpion’s Heart. On February 14, the 24-day-old waning crescent moon will pass in front of the star, temporarily hiding it from view from some parts of the world.
