IELTS matnlari bilan ishlash tartibi
Biz matnlar bilan ishlashning quyidagi tartibini taklif etamiz.
Bizning fikrimizga koβra, imtihon topshiruvchilar matn bilan ishlash jarayonida birinchi navbatda quyidagilarni amalga oshirishlari kerak:
- Quyidagi xossalarga koβra matn tahlilini amalga oshirish:
- Sarlavha, quyi sarlavha;
- Koβrgazmali maβlumotlar (rasmlar, fotosuratlar, xaritalar, chizmalar va diagrammalar);
- Atoqli otlar;
- Geografik joy nomlari;
- Sanalar;
- Son va raqamlar;
- Pul birliklari va miqdorlari.
Bunda tahlil 2 β 3 daqiqagacha vaqt oladi, ammo matn haqida umumiy tasavvurning paydo boβlishi uchun yetarli hisoblanadi. Eng koβp hollarda ikki turdagi matnlar uchraydi:
1 β maβlum bir mavzuning nazariyasi va yoki tarixini tasvirlovchi matnlar,
2 β biror narsa yoki jarayonni tasvirlovchi matnlar. Baβzan bu ikki turga bir xilda taβluqli boβlgan, aralash mazmundagi matnlar ham uchraydi.
Masalan, biror matnda atoqli otlar, tarixiy joy nomlari va tarixiy sanalar koβp uchrasa, tahmin qilish mumkinki, matn qaysidir mavzuning tarixiga aloqador. Bu turdagi mantlarga βA Spark, a Flint: How Fire Leapt to Lifeβ, βZoo Conservation Programmesβ, βArchitecture β Reaching for the Skyβ, βRight and Left Handedness in Humansβ kabi matnlarni misol qilib keltirish mumkin.
Ikkinchi turdagi matnlarda, koβpincha, bir xil turdagi soβz yoki ibora qayta-qayta ishlatiladi. Ularda raqamlar va miqdorlar ham tasvirlangan boβlishi mumkin. Bunday turdagi matnlarga esa βMigratory Beekeepingβ, βTourismβ, βSpoken Corpus Comes to Lifeβ, βMoles Go Happy as Homes Go Undergroundβ, βA Wordaholic Economyβ kabi matnlarni misol keltirish mumkin.
Matn haqida ilk, umumiy tushunchaga ega boβlgandan soβng esa topshiriqlarni bajarishga oβtish kerak. Topshiriqlar soni 38 tadan 42 tagacha, oβrtacha 40 ta boβladi. Iqtisodiy yoβnalishdagi oliygohga qabul qilinuvchilardan talab etiladigan 6 ballni yigβish uchun kamida 25 ta topshiriqni toβgβri bajarish kerak boβladi.

5 Formal Idioms for IELTS Essays
1. A means to an endβ a way of achieving a goal
Raising taxes is just a means to an end. Although citizens may initially express dissatisfaction with allocating more of their income to the government, increased revenue would mean the nation could provide healthcare for all, which leads to a happier and more productive society.
2. If you willβ This phrase can be used when asking the reader to do something
Imagine, if you will, a university which guaranteed equal numbers of males and females in all classes.
3. Ill-gotten gainsβ money/profits which were obtained unfairly, or, even, illegally
I would posit that the profits made by institutions from international students are ill-gotten gains. Foreign pupils should not be asked to pay a higher sum than local individuals.
4. In droves β a large amount gathering very quickly, usually describing people
Every time Apple releases a new device, consumers purchase it in droves.
5. Since time immemorial β something has been happening for an extremely long time
Since time immemorial, children have wished they could be more like adults. However, this wish revolves around the freedom they perceive their elders as having, not the responsibilities.

IELTS SPEAKING PART 1: Books
1οΈβ£ What kind of books do you like to read?
I mostly like to read biographies. I'm not sure why but it is interesting to read about people's real lives, especially when they have had interesting lives and have had to deal with many problems. I do read fiction as well, but I often find it difficult to get hold of a book that I really like. I also like reading about books to do with current affairs.
2οΈβ£ Do you read the same kind of books now that you read when you were a child?
Not really, no. Actually I didn't read that much when I was a child, but if I did it was mainly fiction books, such as fairy tales. Things like The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Fantasy things.
3οΈβ£ When do you think is the best time to read?
I think any time is ok, but when I read I like to concentrate, so I can't read for a short time like on a bus ride like some people do. I like to put time aside to enjoy it. So if I have some free time at the weekend I might read for a few hours. And I nearly always read before I go to bed - this really helps me to sleep.
π USEFUL LANGUAGE:
πΈdeal with (ph v) - take action
πΈfiction (n) - the type of book or story which is written about imaginary characters and events and not based on real people and facts
πΈcurrent affairs (n) - political news about events happening now
