I'm done with work for the day, so I can act as interpreter for the Scream Team. What would you like to do, Max? What's the top priority right now, at this very moment?

Let's pick one problem, work on it, solve it, and move on to the next. We won't save the world tonight, but we can make serious progress by keeping each other focused on the task at hand.

Priority 1: Infrastructure to direct new and existing allies to the channels where their specific skills can help the most. That means they need to know two things: Where to go and what to do when they get there. We need to convert existing audio/video into text, because it's easier to refer to over time by multiple people entering at different stages of the ongoing conversation, and for Max to refer back to. Gotcha.

Priority 2: Make people understand that they have to install Telegram and get the word out to others they know that can help. Generate groundswell and make it clear that other platforms are not working. Be sure Priority 1 is handled, because if we have an influx of lots of new people, they need to be directed to where they can help and know what's needed from them.

Priority 3: Get results to prove the potential of the system, and bring more people in, emboldened by the success of it.

Let's work on Priority 1. We need clear, concise, written copy to give the new people to explain the situation and how they can help, along with people who can type to act as greeters to meet them when they arrive in the channels they've been directed to.

If I understand the layout of the channels correctly, @IntuitivePublicHelpers is the lobby where everyone gathers, and @UrgentPleaseType is a specific area where typists can transcribe, translate, and otherwise interpret audio/video into text.

@UrgentPleaseType is the best place to start formatting the collection of channels into something (dare I say) "intuitive" for volunteers to start their work. Even though it's somewhat working in reverse, let's start there and then work back to @IntuitivePublicHelpers to create the pipeline of new volunteers to active helpers.

It's easy and it can be gamified. Someone suffering makes their audio post, a volunteer transcribes it and then interprets it. Boom. Done. Get multiple people working on the same audio post, and you can workshop the most effective translation. (Effective here defined by the intentions of the person who spoke it originally.)

It doesn't need any additional formatting beyond what's here on Telegram. If it gets flooded with requests and submissions, a speaker and an interpreter can go to a private one on one chat. Easy.

So let's establish some rules and generate some copy to hand out to everyone.
