Today I would like to update the master plan for restructuring Discord server to make it the true home of Hectagon DAO.

As a community, the interest and passion that drive everyone to Hectagon is to become better on "Investment on Blockchain" and "How to support blockchain/web3 project to build a new better world". Therefore the new server structure would make a lot of room for Learning on topic such as: blockchain, investment best practice, DeFi, GameFi, Layer 1, Layer 2 or even Meme-coin. There will be online courses on Blockchain from basic to advance for DAO members.

However, we can not make this interest and passion sustainable without building Hectagon together hence investing in true crypto GEM and bring benefit to all token holders. Therefore, the other half real estates of the server will be reserved for community member to discuss and govern Protocol proposal & Investment decision, view Weekly community call logs, view Campaigns update. There will be places for Web3 Founder to hangout and ask for community support.

There are over 50 channels will be built with over 20 roles to setup and many new DAO positions to be recruited. We are going to do it over the span of few months, but community will be kept posted frequently.

**Growth and Community:**

We’re hosting DAO promotion campaigns which attracts +350 applications and +100 DAO contributors. Meanwhile, we’re focusing on promotional partnerships, portfolio partners in listing, fundraising, audit, MM,… and discussing with strategic partners in deals referral, DAO tools, integration.

**Investment:**

We introduced to community Fanzee - a web3 engagement platform for sports and entertainments entities to connect with their fans. Fanzee will be the first IDO on Tonstarter - official launchpad of TON Network in September, then plan to list on Gate/MEXC/KuCoin/Houbi

We’re discussing and doing last steps of due diligence with Fanzee before proposing to DAO voting and make investment.

For gHECTA holder, you’ll have opportunity to buy seed-round $FZN - Fanzee token, which we’ll announce soon.

Besides, we’re talking with BlueMove - he leading NFT Marketplace on Aptos and Sui blockchain that raise million dollars investment from top tier VCs about investment opportunity. We'll keep you updated.

We’re building investment mechanism for gHECTA holders to join seed and private rounds of proposed projects, including but not limited to Open Food Chain and Fanzee.

Project hightlights: Fizen

Fizen is one of highlight projects that Hectagon is discussing and reviewing before proposing DAO community.

Fizen is a Super App for crypto users to spend crypto easily and access DeFi services confidently.

The Fizen app is on App Store, Google Play Store and users can now use many coins and tokens to pay for online doctor, coffee, grocery, phone top-up, gasoline, together with 21,000 products and services from 2,500 brands worldwide

Other functions available in the non-custodial Fizen App are: crypto wallet, crypto onramp, token swap, NFT view/send, in-app browser, wallet connect. Fizen will soon add staking, lending and borrowing features.

Hectagon Investment Research: Open Food Chain

Last month, we introduced to Hectagon community about the first shortlisted projects that we find potential enough to enter a private investment, Open Food Chain (OFC), a traceability solution for the food industry using public blockchain.

Key problems in this market:

🗝 The cost and complexity of doing traceability for the whole supply chain are too big for any one player in the chain to do.
🗝 The blockchain solution is often private, and centralized which leads to fragmentation as not every actor in the chain can join.
🗝 The risk is that a contaminated or counterfeit product might be tagged and introduced into the supply chain, either in error or by a corrupt actor. Another risk is inaccurate inventory data resulting from mistakes in scanning, tagging, and data entry.

This article is mainly focus on our findings and researches of OFC. However, this memo is made only for DAO proposal purpose, the final investment decision is depending on DAO voting. 👉 Read full article here

[Read this week] Decentralized Funding Ecosystems Are the Future of the Crypto Venture Capital (VC) Market

Ideally, the crypto market should be a fair playing ground for anyone interested in the digital asset economy. After all, the failure of big hedge funds such as Three Arrows Capital in recent months has shown that VCs could do more harm than good.

“I wish they could rank VC firms by whether they engaged in quick flips — so founders are aware if they are really dealing with a VC or more of a hedge fund.” noted Mark Lurie (a VC turned Web3 founder) in an interview with Cointelegraph Magazine.

What if the crypto VC market pivoted to DeFi protocols? ✊

FUTURE TOKEN: OVERVIEW

Vesting is the most daunting time for crypto investors as the capital is frozen for a while. We create a new concept of future tokens (ERC20) representing the right to redeem the original token at a future date, and define some of its use cases.

What is a future token?

A token represents the power to unlock an original token on a predetermined date in the future.

The Future Token contract is an ERC20 token and anyone can easily create a Liquidity Pool on any Exchange to trade this token.
