Last week, we have done few things:

At the moment we let user connect to Hectagon through Metamask and Wallet Connect. Linh Linh suggest we should consider C98 because it’s more mobile friendly. What’s your thought on this? Any other wallet you want us to consider and why?

BUY BACK & BURN ANNOUNCEMENT
Hectagon was born under a vision of complete transparency with the mission to solve current Web3 investment problems, mainly the centralisation of Venture Capital funding. In order to deliver on that vision, the protocol decided to execute the common practice of Buyback and Burn to HECTA token through Treasury.
There are a number of reasons for implementing a token buyback and burn, but the main reason is to ensure the stability of the protocol. Crypto markets are incredibly volatile, and it’s not uncommon for the token price to swing wildly. We believe the token burn action will make a positive price action to HECTA.
The token burn will have no impact on the Investment fund. All actions will be recorded frequently in our Hectagon Treasury Update for complete transparency.

This is the Treasury update till we have a better way to report the state of the Treasury
Anti-Inflation mechanism: Adjust APY of the Protocol
After 3 weeks since Hectagon TGE, we realize that high APY would make the protocol unhealthy. The high APY is actually marketing cost which is great for an early bird but would be a big tax to users who join late.
Therefore, the Guardian Team proposed a plan to reduce new circulation through staking, by adjusting the APY. Usually, when a projects decide to adjust APY, it will positively impact the future price of the token.
This proposal is another effort, together with the BuyBack and Burn action from our Guardian Team toward the price action. Overall mission is to keep Hectagon Protocol healthy and stable.

Updates on HIP09 - Anti-Inflation mechanism: Adjust APY of the Protocol
We acknowledge that high APY is a double-edged sword that can be very beneficial for HECTA holders at the moment, or impact new comers. Realizing the urgency of the situation, as well as in accordance with our long-term vision Guardian Team will consider reducing the staking APY.
Adjusting APY is part of Hectagon's anti-inflation mechanism. It helps the project to be sustainable and benefits all Hecta Holders in the long term. Lower APY will help keep the protocol less likely to get manipulated by whales, which impose positive influence on $HECTA price gradually.
We have proposed this idea on Hectagon Forum and get many comments.
The proposal came to the end with 88% approval. That’s enough for us to conduct on-chain voting before official implementation.
