Quinolytic acid revs up glutamate and glycine which are (ahem) two amino acids comprising glutathione (the third is cysteine, aka NAC)
Obviously you can do your own search on glutamate and NMDA but here is a quick rundown of neurodegerative illnesses linked to NMDA
Alzheimer's disease
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Huntington's disease
Parkinson's disease
Epilepsy
Other central nervous system conditions with suspected NMDA receptor involvement include:
Fibromyalgia
Chronic fatigue syndrome
Migraine aura
Some types of headache
Anxiety
Depression
Schizophrenia
Post-traumatic stress disorder
Obsessive-compulsive disorder

I was making a juice last night and came across a decomposing lemon in my fruit bowl. None of the other pieces of fruit or vegetables had become "infected". This is a great visual example of why I question the theory of "contagion".
If the mould caused this lemon to rot, why didn't it cause the others to rot as well? Mould and bacteria and fungi are mother nature's waste disposal unit. They are there to clean up the mess, not cause disease. More experiments on this to come in the near future.
Don't forget to sign up to my upcoming webinar on the microbiome.

Early bird discount for my next webinar The Microbiome.
The human microbiome is one of the most widely researched, yet misunderstood parts of the human body. The current understanding of the microbiome is that there are “good bacteria” which are conducive to good health and “bad bacteria” which cause dysbiosis and disease. But what if there weren’t “good” or “bad” bacteria? What if parasitic, fungal and bacterial infections weren’t actually the cause of disease but the answer to it? What if everything we thought we know about the microbiome was completely misguided? This webinar will challenge everything you thought you knew about the microbiome and might change the way you view the body, health and disease, forever.
This webinar will discuss the following topics;
- The microbiome and its function in health and disease
- Terrain theory and the microbiome
- The false dichotomy of “good” and “bad” bacteria
- Dysbiosis, parasitic and fungal infections are a healing response rather than the cause of disease
- New perspectives around pro-biotic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic treatments
- Practical considerations and interventions to promote gut health and wellbeing
Join me on Wednesday the 25th of May at 6 pm AEST for a 90 minute webinar on the microbiome.
Use the code "Microbiome22" when signing up to receive a 25% early bird discount.

EXCESS ‘VITAMINS & MINERALS’ IS TOXIC, TOO. When you don’t give your unique individual body and brain what *you* need you will make yourself sick(er).

ORGANIZED MEDICINE IS MOVING TO TAKE OVER ‘NUTRICEUTICALS’ using natural compounds (like NAC, glutathione, NAD, B vitamins, hormones like Vit D) as they use pharma drugs, treating symptoms, ignoring cause (toxins, malnutrition).
If you have a pain in your ass from sitting on a tack, no amount of nutriceuticals will truly help you. You need to take the tack out of your ass. (Removing the source of the illness, the tack, is the first step in the ‘therapeutic order’ — see below.)
