MAGNESIUM, IODINE/IODIDE, FULVIC ACID & NITRIC OXIDE.

A functional genomic analysis looks at your NOS enzymes - inducible, endothelial and neuronal nitric oxide synthase genes, some of which can be up-regulated and others down-regulated. Three basic suggestions for nutrient depleted North Americans eating a standard diet are magnesium (find the best forms for you ... malate, glycinate, taurate, citrate etc) iodine (Lughol’s or Nascent), and fulvic/humic to calm the GI tract and bind-out glyphosate and aluminum. As for nitric oxide, we lose it, along with magnesium, as we age. Get some nitrite/nitrate test strips (HumanN, Dr Nathan Bryan is a good source).

The older you get, the more you lose nitric oxide and magnesium. Good place to start is nitric oxide test strips and DNA test for NOS, NDUFS and other genes associated with these two compounds. HumanN is one brand of nitric oxide test strips.

DE-FLUORIDATED WATER ... I recently purchased a Waterdrop gravity water filter, similar to Berkey but less expensive. The Waterdrop uses the same filters as Berkey, and has optional fluoride filters. The reason I suggest all people in US take iodine/iodide (as well as magnesium) is that fluoride is a halide, similar to iodine.and interferes with iodine metabolism. The thyroid hormones rely on iodine. (The "3" and "4" in T3/T4 thyroid hormones refer to iodine molecules.) Super important that you TAKE OUT fluoride as well as chlorine ... especially as we come into a summer season when municipal water treatmemt plants add in more chlorine.
