However, HaqCheck has inspected the image used to support the claim and rendered it False.

HaqCheck looked into a claim that Yonas Zewde, a former communications chief at the Addis Ababa City Administration resigned from his post due to rampant corruption. However, HaqCheck confirmed that he did not resign from his previous post and was just appointed to another position by the administration.

A Facebook page with more than 54 thousand followers shared a collection of images featuring the Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Director of the WHO Dr.Tedros Adhanom, Indian movie actor Sha Rukh Khan, and the football legend Pele all wearing a similar academic dress of red gown with a yellow velvet hood, captioned with lines of a song from a popular Tigrigna singer that reads, “The Tigrean flag does whatever it wants without bragging”. However, HaqCheck interrogated the claim and rendered it False.

ሀቅቼክ ይህንን ምስል የዛሬ አመት ጥር 16 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም ላይ ታጁዲን አህማዲ በተባለ እና ከ 3900 በላይ ጓደኞች ባሉት የፌስቡክ የግል አካውንት ላይ ተጋርቶ አግኝቶት የነበረ ሲሆን በወቅቱም የጠቅላይ ጽ/ቤት በጠ/ሚ አብይ አህመድ ደህንነትን በተመለከተ የሚሰራጩ መረጃዎች ሀሰተኛ መሆናቸውን በይፋዊ ገጹ ላይ አስታውቆ ነበር።

ምስሉ Gofund me በተባለ እርዳታ ማሰባሰቢያ ድረ-ገፅ ላይ ቢዱሀን ታፓ የተባለ ሰው በደረሰበት የልብ ምት መቋረጥ (cardiac arrest) ምክንያት ሲረዳበት በነበረው ጆን ሆፕኪንስ ሆስፒታል መሞቱን ተከትሎ የታማሚውን ሚስት ፕሪሲላ ራይንን ለመርዳት በማሰብ ምስሉን በመጠቀም በድረ ገጹ ላይ ገንዘብ ለማሰባሰብ የተጋራ ምስል እንደሆነ ታውቋል።
