ከ9900 በላይ ተከታይ ካለው የፌስቡክ ገፅ እስከ ዩቲዩብ ቻናሎች ድረስ በድንቅ ትወናው እና የፊልም ስራዎቹ የምናውቀው አርቲስት ሰለሞን ቦጋለ ቅዳሜ ከሰዓት በኋላ ከዚህ አለም በሞት ተለይቷል የሚሉ መረጃዎችን ሲያጋሩ ነበር። በተጨማሪም የፌስቡክ ገፁ አርቲስት ሰለሞን ቦጋለ ከሀገር ውጭ ህክምና ሲከታተል እንደቆየና ኋላ ላይ ግን ወደ አዲስ አበባ በገባ 24 ሰዓት ባልሞላ ጊዜ ውስጥ ማረፉን ይናገራል።

ይህንን ሁኔታ ለመቆጣጠር ከሚረዱን መንገዶች መካከል የሊንክ መመርመሪያዎች (Link checkers) አንዱ ናቸው።
እነዚህ የሊንክ መመርመሪያዎች የሚያደርጉት ለማጭበርበር እና የግል መረጃዎቻችንን ለመውሰድ የሚመጡ ድረ-ገጾች እና ሊንኮች ትክክለኛነት በማጣራት የሚያደርሱትን ጉዳት እንድንከላከል ይረዱናል።

“Amhara extremists have turned back to Ataye because their deadliest massacre plan in Wollega has not worked out.” was the caption used by a Facebook page. The Page uses the map of the Amhara region and from the map points to an image claiming to show Amhara militias in Fortress.
However, HaqCheck has inspected the image used to support the claim and rendered it False.

HaqCheck looked into a claim that Yonas Zewde, a former communications chief at the Addis Ababa City Administration resigned from his post due to rampant corruption. However, HaqCheck confirmed that he did not resign from his previous post and was just appointed to another position by the administration.

She is the Ethiopian Amhara Immaculée who survived to tell us what really happened," reads the caption given to a picture post by a Facebook page with more than 200 thousand followers. However, HaqCheck inspected the image and rendered it False.

A Facebook page with more than 54 thousand followers shared a collection of images featuring the Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Director of the WHO Dr.Tedros Adhanom, Indian movie actor Sha Rukh Khan, and the football legend Pele all wearing a similar academic dress of red gown with a yellow velvet hood, captioned with lines of a song from a popular Tigrigna singer that reads, “The Tigrean flag does whatever it wants without bragging”. However, HaqCheck interrogated the claim and rendered it False.

ከሰሞኑ የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር አብይ አህመድ ከሚድያ መጥፋትን ተከትሎ ከ291 ሺህ በላይ ተከታይ ካላቸው የቴሌግራም ቻናሎች እስከ 10ሺህ በላይ ተከታይ እስካላቸው የፌስቡክ ገጾች ድረስ “ጠ/ሚ አብይ አህመድ ኮማ ውስጥ መሆናቸው ተረጋግጧል” የሚሉና ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ “በcerebro vascular accident (stroke) ተጠቅተው ኮማ ውስጥ ገብተዋል” በሚል መግለጫ የተደገፈ አንድ ምስል በማህበራዊ ሚድያው ላይ ሲዘዋወር ቆይቷል።

ሀቅቼክ ይህንን ምስል የዛሬ አመት ጥር 16 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም ላይ ታጁዲን አህማዲ በተባለ እና ከ 3900 በላይ ጓደኞች ባሉት የፌስቡክ የግል አካውንት ላይ ተጋርቶ አግኝቶት የነበረ ሲሆን በወቅቱም የጠቅላይ ጽ/ቤት በጠ/ሚ አብይ አህመድ ደህንነትን በተመለከተ የሚሰራጩ መረጃዎች ሀሰተኛ መሆናቸውን በይፋዊ ገጹ ላይ አስታውቆ ነበር።

ምስሉ Gofund me በተባለ እርዳታ ማሰባሰቢያ ድረ-ገፅ ላይ ቢዱሀን ታፓ የተባለ ሰው በደረሰበት የልብ ምት መቋረጥ (cardiac arrest) ምክንያት ሲረዳበት በነበረው ጆን ሆፕኪንስ ሆስፒታል መሞቱን ተከትሎ የታማሚውን ሚስት ፕሪሲላ ራይንን ለመርዳት በማሰብ ምስሉን በመጠቀም በድረ ገጹ ላይ ገንዘብ ለማሰባሰብ የተጋራ ምስል እንደሆነ ታውቋል።

DTU Students Page (የደብረታቦር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተማሪዎች ገፅ) በሚል ስም የተከፈተ እና ከ18ሺህ በላይ ተከታይ ያለው የፌስቡክ ገፅ ሐምሌ 18 ፤ 2014 ዓ.ም “አትሌት ኮ/ል ደራርቱ ቱሉ ላደረገችው አስተዋፅኦ ከአለም ኦሎምፒክ ኮሚቴ እጅግ ዘመናዊ BMW መኪና ተሸለመች” በሚል የፅሁፍ መግለጫ አትሌት ደራርቱ ቱሉ ከአንድ ፈረንጅ ሴት ጎን ቆማ የምትታይበት ምስል አጋርቶ ነበር። ስለ አትሌቷ የዘመናዊ BMW መኪና መሸለም የተገኘ መረጃ ባይኖርም ምስሉ የተቀናበረ እና ሀሰተኛ መሆኑ ተረጋግጧል። አትሌት ደራርቱ ቱሉ ከአንድ ፈረንጅ ሴት ጎን ቆማ የምትታይበት የመጀመሪያውና ትክክለኛው ምስል ሐምሌ 2 ፤ 2014 ዓ.ም ላይ “Ira BMW Stratham” በተሰኘ የትዊተር አካውንት ላይ ተገኝቷል። ስለዚህም ምስሉ የተቀነባበረ ነው።
