An entertainment website called Urban Matter posted an article titled, “10 places to rest away from the society.” in which it listed Lake Langano to be found in Gambella and have dolphins. However, HaqCheck has counter checked the facts presented on the article about Ethiopia and rendered it False.

A Facebook page published a post with three images with overlay text on one of the images that reads "Dembi Dollo University". However, HaqCheck confirmed that the image doesn't show Dembi Dollo University and rated it FALSE.

HaqCheck investigated a Facebook post reporting the Eritrean government to say that TPLF launched an attack via Badme and Rama, and confirmed it FALSE due to the usage of an inaccurate image.

ከ 500ሺ በላይ ተከታይ ያሉት የፌስቡክ ገፅ "የኦሮሞ ነፃነት ሰራዊት ደምቢዶሎን መቆጣጠሩን ገለፀ" የሚል መግለጫ ከሶስት ምስሎች ጋር አጋርቶ ነበር። ይህ ፖስት ከ3ሺ በላይ ግብረ መልስ ሲያገኝ ከ950ጊዜ በላይ ተጋርቷል።

መረጃው ለመደገፍ ከተያያዙት 3 ምስሎች መሀል አንደኛው ምስል "ደምቢዶሎ ዩኒቨርስቲ" የሚል ፅሁፍ በቀይ ቀለም ተፅፎበታል። ሆኖም ሀቅ ቼክ ባደረገው ምርመራ ምስሉ ደምቢዶሎ ዩኒቨርስቲን እንደማያሳይ አረጋግጧል።

ስለዚህም ሀቅቼክ የፌስቡክ ፖስቱ መረጃውን ለመደገፍ የተጠቀመውን ምስል ሀሰት ብሎታል።

ትክክለኛው ምስል ከዚህ ቀደም ታህሳስ 12 ቀን 2010 ላይ በቢቢሲ አማርኛ ዜና ጥቅም ላይ የዋለ ሲሆን የሚታየውም የዩኒቨርስቲ መግቢያ በር የወለጋ ዩኒቨርስቲ ነው።

An image-backed post on Facebook claimed that the pictures show Ethiopia's C-130 Hercules aircrafts. However, HaqCheck found out that four of the five pictures doesn't prove the claim and rated the post PARTLY FALSE.

“በአማራ ክልል የጀመርነው ህግ የማስከበር ስራ በተሳካ ሁኔታ እየሄደ ነው” የሚል ንግግርን በፅሁፍ በመጥቀስ የኦሮሚያ ክልል ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ሽመልስ አብዲሳ ለኢቢሲ እንደገለፁ በመጥቀስ በኢትዮጵያ ብሮድካስቲንግ ኮርፖሬት (EBC) አርማ እና ሎጎ የተሰራ የምስል ቅንብር በፌስቡክ ገፅ ሲዘዋወር ተመልክተናል። ምስሉ ከ18 ደቂቃዎች በፊት በኢቢሲ የፌስቡክ ገፅ የተጋራ መሆኑን የሚያመለክት ነው።

ከዚህ ቀደም የተለያዩ የመገናኛ ብዙሃንን ስም እና የፖስት ዘይቤን በማስመሰል በማህበራዊ ትስስር ገፆች ላይ መረጃዎች እየተጋሩ እንዳሉ ሀቅቼክ ተመልክቷል።

ሀቅቼክ ባደረገው ዳሰሳ ይህ ከግንቦት 15 ጀምሮ እየተሰራጨ የሚገኘው ዜና በሚዲያ ተቋሙ ላይ ቀርቦ እንዳልነበር እና ተቀነባብሮ በማህበራዊ ትስስር ገፆች ላይ የቀረበ መሆኑን አረጋግጧል።

ከዜናው ጋር የተያያዘው የኦሮሚያ ክልል ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ሽመልስ አብዲሳ ምስል የቅርብ አለመሆኑን እና ከዚህ ቀደም በ2013 ዓ.ም የኢድ አልፈጥር በዓልን አስመልክቶ ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት ወቅት የተጋራ መሆኑን ሀቅቼክ ተመልክቷል።

ስለሆነም በማህበራዊ ሚዲያዎች የሚዘዋወሩ ምስሎችንና መረጃዎችን ከትክክለኛው ምንጭ ሳያጣሩ ባለማጋራት እራስዎንም ሆነ ሌሎችን ይጠብቁ።
