Arsenal are due to bid again for Bruno G.

Arsenal have internally discussed the signing of Vini Jnr for some time now. The feasibility is there to do a deal. Some highly influential people are involved in the matter. Very very early days put Arsenal are very serious if given the chance to sign him.

I will write up a long form piece explaining the whole Bruno G story & why its coming to a close one way or another & why there has been a lot of mixed messaging all done in good faith.

When @David_Ornstein exclusively reported on the 26th of June a proposal was sent. It was an offer below 60m and it was rejected. You then were told no bid has even been made? This happened again and again you were told…’no direct contact / no official bid’ …In early July I exclusively reported Bruno respectfully told Eddie Howe directly he wants to leave if possible for sporting reasons. Fast forward to Thursday.. widespread reports of a 70m bid…my understanding is that was also rejected in the past days.

In our pursuit for our top target Tonali, it became abundantly clear the agent fees, the wages and the transfer fee was just not reflective of the player’s quality and ceiling. During this pursuit we were made aware of Bruno G’s ’desire and availability’. Enter Kia Joorabchian. If there is one thing to know about this individual is that not only is he a super agent but he mingles in super wealthy circles and even enjoys purchasing very very very expensive horses with Premier League owners. Why is that relevant? Let me explain.

My understanding is that Kia has always been talking to someone very highly ranked within Newcastle. One may even suggest ownership level talks with Kia as you now know the type of circles he moves in…. So this whole process / the verbal offers have been made in THESE discussions. The Newcastle press and respect to all of them have been reporting in good faith about ‘no official offer / no direct contact’ because no Arsenal employee has not contacted them yet and no official offer has been made.

On the 14th of July, I reported 80-85m is where serious talks take place. Now you are hearing ‘the number has to start with an 8’ for serious talks to begin’….When / if Kia makes a breakthrough on the fee and it’s all agreed at a high level…then the actual official bid will go in and things will move rapid.

Bruno is obligated to join up with Newcastle this Friday…Kia is still in talks…feels like a really important few days. Arsenal will stick to their valuation with Kia really pushing for a breakthrough.

The Arsenal medical team are monitoring his condition and fitness very closely during pre-season.

- Arsenal HAVE spoken to the camp of Vinicius Jnr, obtained all the necessary financial requirements and THEN approved it at all levels internally.
- Vini Jnr’s camp is well aware IF his contract talks fail - The English Champions are ready financially to put in a serious offer.
- Vinícius Júnior trusted circle has proactively explored potential future destinations for the winger, engaging leading sports analytics firms and data-driven football experts to simulate how he would fit into various top-tier tactical systems. According to well places sources, Arsenal features prominently in those projections as a highly compatible destination.
- Arsenal continue to work on other targets like Julian Alvarez & others

Vini - Madrid

- A year of stalled and unsuccessful contract talks
- The financial gap between the demand of both camps is a 7 digit multi million figure.
- Roc Nation feel he is not seen as an untouchable asset current and the salary / contract being offered reflects that.
- Real Madrid are not willing to blank cheque Vini, they have a limit and wont break it for anyone.
- Talks between the camps are set to resume in the coming days when the player returns to ascertain if this financial gap can be closed.
- The blame for the talks taking so long is being passed back and forth between the two parties.
- Madrid do not want him to leave on a free next summer.

Arsenal are ready to enter and Roc Nation will keep us informed.

21 November: FT: Newcastle 0 Arsenal 1. Bruno Guimaraes 90+4 winner

Newcastle sources insist nothing is done yet between Guimaraes and Arsenal.

Newcastle Senior officials feel it was an intermediary who is playing games.

Arsenal set to finalise a move for Bruno G today. Well placed sources say the total package reaches £80m.

The Brazilian is expected to fly today to complete medical and formalities tomorrow.

Real Madrid improve their offer to Vini Jnr. The player is very appreciative of the gesture and willingness.

I am told it still does not exceed the package Arsenal have presented.

Final decision still yet to be made but player feels it was a positive meeting.
