Psalms 61:1-8.βHear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy.
Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.
For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name.
You will prolong the kingβs life; His years will be as many generations.
He will abide before God forever; Appoint lovingkindness and truth that they may preserve him.
So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may pay my vows day by day.β
Matthew 21:12-13.βAnd Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.
And He *said to them, βIt is written, βMy house shall be called a house of prayerβ; but you are making it a robbersβ den.ββ
2 Corinthians 4:3-6.βAnd even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesusβ sake.
For God, who said, βLight shall shine out of darkness,β is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.β
Psalm 2:1-5.βWhy do the heathen rage, And the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, And cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure.β
