πŸ‘‰What’s The Minimum Distance I Need To Ride
- Each ride has to be a minimum of 5 km, otherwise, it will not be considered.
- For example, you cannot ride multiple times in a day, say 2 km, 2 km, and 1 km
to add up to 5 km in total. All three rides will be rejected.
- All rides should be supported by a valid public GPS activity link (from apps

πŸ‘‰ What if I miss completing a challenge?
- This is fine. You just miss earning points defined for the challenge.
- Missing a challenge does not disqualify you from the stage or the event.

event. For example, if you do not complete any challenge from Stage 3, you
will be disqualified.
- Make sure you complete at least 1 of the challenges for each stage.

πŸ‘‰ Can I ride multiple times a day?
● Yes
● Multiple rides in a day will be considered for single ride distance challenges
(like 200 km ride) only if they meet following criteria
- All the rides shall start within the same day.
- The maximum difference between the stop time and start time of the following ride shall not be more
than 15 min.

● For example, Stage 1 - 100km ride may be done as two 50km rides in the day
- First Ride - Start Time: 5 am and End Time: 7:15 am
- Second Ride - Start Time: 7:28 am and End Time: 10:10 am
- The gap between rides - 13 min (which is less than allowed limit of 15 min)

πŸ‘‰ How can I complete a long-distance ride?
● Let's take an example of the 200 km ride in Stage 4
● You can do that as a single unbroken ride with a public GPS activity link (like on Strava) showing full 200 km covered
● Alternatively, you can break that 200 km into multiple smaller rides totalling 200 km, but all should be starting on the same day.
● The final ride of the day may start on one day and end on the next but will be counted toward the day on which it was started.
● The maximum time difference between the stop and start of the next ride should not be more than 15 min

πŸ‘‰ Can I complete the same challenge multiple times?
● No extra points would be awarded if you repeat the challenge more than once
● For example, if you do the Stage 1 challenge of Minimum Days (5 km each for 5 days) multiple times, you will not earn extra challenge points for completing that challenge
● You will, however, continue to earn bonus points for each km clocked
● Similarly, if you do the 60 km Stage 3 ride multiple times, it will be only awarded points for the completion of 60 km Silver ride only once. However, the second 60 km ride is still eligible to be counted towards other challenges, like the 40 km Bronze ride for that stage

πŸ˜‡We are excited to feature an all-women cycling community: Spokes Women. The group is driven by their passion for 🚴cycling and adventure.

πŸ’β€β™‚11 women from this group are taking up the 5 Stage Cycling Challenge in Bergamont Tour De 100.

πŸ‘‰You can follow the group on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/spokes_women/

✍More about Spoken Women from the desk of the founder, Vidya Chandran: The group was started around July-August of 2018. There were a few women who were following me on Strava and asked if they could come on some rides with me as they lacked company. I was able to ride with some of them however, given Bangalore distances, it was difficult to ride with everyone. I then thought that if we had a small group of πŸš΄β€β™€πŸš΄β€β™€existing women riders, then we could build a community to help support new riders and hence came about the Spokes Women group.
πŸ’β€β™‚The start is the point where one drops all his or her inhibitions and πŸš΄β€β™‚start exploring the limits.

πŸ™ŒWe congratulate all the participants of Bergamont Tour De 100 for making a Start today to explore their possibilities.
