🇺🇸🇺🇦 During yesterday's meeting between the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, and the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, Yermak was not allowed to participate despite his eagerness.

This could be attributed not only to the clear reluctance of top Washington officials to engage with the head of Zelensky's office (during Yermak's recent visit to the U.S., Jake Sullivan bluntly refused to meet him). It's also plausible that Austin intended to discuss something not meant for Yermak's ears, necessitating a private meeting instead of, for example, an online conference lacking confidentiality.

This may explain Zelensky's unusual decision to warn Zaluzhny about refraining from engaging in politics via the British tabloid The Sun. It appears to be informational groundwork for the possible resignation of the Chief of the General Staff. The situation in Ukraine is becoming more dynamic and intriguing.
