Israel has Nuclear weapons, the capability to develop them was either stolen or knowingly transferred by "friendly' countries over the past 50 years. Estimates on the size of its arsenal vary but at this stage it may have up tp 100 warheads of varying power, which puts it close to the capabilities of India and Pakistan.

Why am I pointing this out to you on this cold Sunday afternoon? well, I feel the capacity for Israel to deploy a tactical nuclear strike is becoming an increasing possibility, not a certainty by any means, however, if the accelerated conflict which began on Oct 7th escalates, which it may do, that possibility increases exponentially. Any Nuclear state that faces an existential threat to its existence, would in my opinion consider the use of battlefield nuclear weapons to halt the advance of its enemies and ensure its survival, you don't need to support Israel to understand that reality, indeed whether you support them or not is irrelevant and considering the relatively small size of todays Israeli military and the scale of the forces that could potentially oppose it, this reality becomes certainly worth considering and factoring into our thinking when it comes to the Gaza Israeli conflict.

With all of this in mind, you may ask "Wouldn't the US stop them doing it?" well, no, not necessarily, its a common misconception that the US would be in a position to intervene if an Israeli leader even shared plans on this level, while Israel is in receipt of vast US aid and intelligence, this doesn't always run in the opposite direction.

While the western worlds media has been focused on the politically motivated and blatantly manufactured threat of a nuclear confrontation in Ukraine (it was never going to happen) its conveniently ignored the fact that a relatively unstable 'democracy' called Israel is far more likely to become the catalyst for a nuclear confrontation than Russia. The concern for us all is, how long with its Muslim neighbors be able to tolerate the brutal retribution operation being carried out against the civilians of the Gaza strip? and is an increasingly isolated Israel relying on its hidden nuclear weapons to ensure they don't intervene?
