🇦🇪❌🇷🇺The UAE has agreed to limit exports to Russia of goods used in fighting in Ukraine.

The European Commission, according to Bloomberg sources, informed the ambassadors of EU member states about this this week.

The agency says the restrictions will cover both direct exports and re-exports.

In addition, the publication states that Turkey is also considering applying similar measures.

The UAE official said it restricts the export and re-export of identified dual-use items to conflict zones and has a legal export control system in place through which it continuously monitors the export of dual-use items.

The European Commission and Turkey's Ministry of Trade declined to comment.

Bloomberg writes that the UAE and Turkey are not the key countries with the help of which the Russian Federation circumvents sanctions. According to agency sources, more than 80% of Russian purchases of high-priority goods come from China and Hong Kong.

The share of the UAE and Turkey is 4% and 6% respectively.

🇷🇺🚀💥🇺🇦☠️The Washington Post spoke with soldiers of the 128th Assault Brigade, whose fellow soldiers died after a Russian missile attack during a ceremonial formation.

“ The Soviet era has returned. It was reminiscent of scenes from Russian propaganda films about the Second World War, where soldiers stand in rows and look glamorous,” said one of the soldiers of the 128th brigade, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The publication writes that the strike killed, among others, several high-ranking officers and some of the best soldiers of the brigade. Many of them took off their helmets during formation and were wounded in the head.

“ When the attack occurred, it was difficult to say how many people were injured or killed. At the moment after the shelling, 21 bodies were counted. It is unknown whether everyone survived in the hospital (according to the official version, 19 people died),” another serviceman said anonymously.

“They brought together people from all parts - the best people. There were 43 people on the list (receiving medals). In fact, there were much more people, because they had to be transported there, and there were about 20 cars ,” said another fighter.

The tragedy occurred in the village of Zarechnoye, about 20 miles from the front line.

According to one of the fighters who spoke, the ceremony site "is constantly within range of ballistic missile strikes and everything else that flies from afar."

Now, military officials say, the big question is how the Russians knew they were targeting the ceremony.

“It is still unclear what exactly happened - either local residents called and reported that a bunch of people had gathered, or there was a leak of information from the internal brigade headquarters ,” said the first soldier.

At the same time, he explains that the strike had to be planned in advance.

“ You can’t launch a missile in two minutes or in 15 - when the enemy aimed a missile there, he knew full well that there was a lot of leadership there and it would be a pretty big blow,” he said.

“ Everyone is angry with the command. They could have given the order to move everything to another place or some kind of shelter. Why this didn't happen, I don't know. This is just military stupidity,” added the second fighter.

According to him, if after the attack the relatives of the soldiers had not “raised a cry” on social networks, “then no one would have known”
