#MOH and #HABTech Workshop on National CoE and Demonstration Woreda Guidelines

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and HABTech Solutions, in collaboration with the Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (CBMP) universities, successfully organized a workshop from December 09 to 13, 2024. This event focused on the development of the national Center of Excellence (CoE) and Demonstration Woreda guidelines, a critical step toward strengthening the health information system in Ethiopia.
During the workshop, stakeholders from various CBMP universities, the MOH, and HABTech came together to review and refine the guidelines that will serve as a model for improving health service delivery at different level. The collaborative efforts are aimed at fostering local leadership and ensuring sustainable health system improvements across Ethiopia.

#Workshop on Regional DHIS2 Technical Support Unit Governance Framework Development: Empowering DHIS2 technical capacity

Held from January 2 to 3, 2025, the workshop aimed to #strengthen governance, build capacity, cascade national DHIS2 technical support expertise to regions, and ensure the sustainability of DHIS2 implementation.
Throughout the workshop, participants provided insights into successful governance models and collaborated to finalize the Governance Framework. The governance framework defines the rationale, objectives, scope, support unit hierarchy, monitoring and evaluation processes, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the Technical Support Unit. The framework will help enhance coordination, improve technical support, and ultimately contribute to better health outcomes across the regions.
