I agree with Farzin that we should keep things open source even if the patches aren’t perfect. At the same time, I also side with LeOS. If the GSI is presented as open source, the patches should be public too.
Transparency builds trust and is important for the community.

I appreciate Doze-off's efforts and builds like many others, but I believe if we publish a GSI as an open source project, the patches should also remain open source.
This isn't just about community trust and security, it's about preserving the core principle of open source. The difference between closed-source patches and closed-source ROMs is significant, because patches directly affect the base code where transparency matters most.
In my opinion, the best approach is to keep the patches public (even if they're not perfectly clean). This way, the community can contribute and trust is maintained.

I appreciate everyone's efforts and respect all opinions here.
I hope you all reach the best decision for the community.
