1) Airtel: Bharti Airtel mentioned that the company’s board will meet on August 29 to discuss various capital raising options.

2) Axis Bank: Axis Bank is planning to raise up to $1 billion through issue of Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bonds overseas, according to a media report.

3) Yes Bank: SEBI has ordered defreezing of bank accounts as well as share and mutual fund holdings of Rana Kapoor, former MD and CEO of Yes Bank.

4) Infosys: The IT giant announced that it will start a new digital development centre in Mississauga, Canada.

Stock Update 📈

Shares of Jubilant Pharmova have surged more than 2.5% 🔼 today.

The jump is seen after the Big Bull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala picked up a stake in the company.

Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala acquired 20 lakh equity shares and Rakesh Radheyshyam Jhunjhunwala bought 25 lakh shares at Rs 594.35 per equity share.

However, his firm Rare Enterprises sold 40.25 lakh equity shares at the same price.

Thus, they both purchased net 4.75 lakh equity shares in the company, which is 0.29% of total paid-up equity.

2) Affle India: Affle India’s board has approved the stock split of its equity shares in 1:5 ratio.

3) Reliance Industries: Reliance Life Sciences – a part of the promoter group of Reliance Industries – has received the approval to conduct trials of its recombinant protein-based Covid-19 vaccine.

4) Adani Green: Adani Green has approved issuing US dollar-denominated foreign currency bonds. The company currently plans to raise $750 million which will be used towards lending to subsidiaries and capital expenditure requirements.

Stock Update 📈

SpiceJet shares opened in green today and are up by approximately 2.3% 🔼

Why?

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has lifted the ban on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft operations in India.

Following the lifting of the ban, SpiceJet has finalised a settlement with Avolon, the lessor of Boeing’s 737 Max aircraft, and expects to start operations of the aircraft by the end of September.

SpiceJet currently has 13 Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts, and some are yet to be delivered.

CAMS shares surged more than 7.8% today 🔼

Why?

The company got approval from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSC) to set up an office at GIFT city to provide asset management support (AMS) services to financial institutions.

Earlier, GIFT City Multi Services-SEZ had also issued a letter of acceptance to the company.

2) Tata Steel: Tata Steel CEO and managing director T V Narendran mentioned that the company will invest Rs 8,000 crore in capital expenditure on its India operations during the current financial year.

3) Future Retail: The company has filed a special leave petition before the Supreme Court regarding the Reliance-Future deal.

4) Tata Motors: NCLT has approved Tata Motors‘ plans of creating a new subsidiary for its passenger vehicle (PV) business.

5) Hero Motocorp: Hero Motocorp has partnered with Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) to bridge the digital skill gap at the country’s auto dealerships.

6) Interglobe Aviation: IndiGo has appointed Gregg Saretsky as a special advisor. He is the former CEO of WestJet, a carrier based in Alberta, Canada.
